Quality Replacement, Easy install

Purchased the B970 model from Lowes to replace a failed LIFTMASTER unit from 2003. Install went without a hitch as the ceiling brackets from the old one fit perfectly. I did replace the header bracket because the rails are different. Its about half the weight of the older one which makes for an easier install, especially since you’re up on a ladder. I was also able to reuse all of the old wiring and even the door sensors. No issues with the programming, even the Wi-Fi setup worked as advertised.
This new unit is quiet! I like the fact that when you use the wi-fi app that the opener beeps, its a good warning to someone that may be in the garage. I hope that it lasts as long as the old one. Note: The manual should have an additional illustration on leveling the rail. It will work fine without being level, but being an engineer, I thought it should be level and it looks better.+ Pros: REASONABLY LIGHTWEIGHT- Cons: NONE✔ Yes, I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Replaced a 10 year old Sears unit. Most mounting points are the same which shortened the install time.
Unit is very quiet and will be even better once the replacement doors with new neoprene rollers are installed.
The wires for the safety sensors were too short. Had the choice of making a diagonal run or spicing additional wire to make a neater appearance along the rafters.
I was also surprised that the mounts for the safety sensors have not changed. Most brands use these same mounts which can be easily misaligned with a bump from an object.
Conclusion: I’ll buy another one for the other door, even though that opener still works (also 10yrs old)✔ Yes, I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Got the product from Amazon, I did not find rail in packing, called Chamberlain customer service and they shipped it next day, no questions. Called for help with old one three time and customer support team were very helpful, but after three calls I decided to replace with new one, and they help me to make the right decision after so many questions. Unit is very quite and when you Install make sure to change Rollers on side of Door, makes it very quite operatio. Thank you Chamberlain and product support team+ Pros: BATTERY BACKUP, EASY TO INSTALL, PACKAGED WELL, QUIET, WIFI CAPABLE- Cons: NONE✔ Yes, I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
